Tennis Tour

Rebecca Marino 2009-2011 LIJA Pro Player This rising star already has numerous achievements under her belt. At the age of 16 she claimed the title of Canadian Jr. International Open Champion. By age 18, she rose over 600 world ranking spots to be in the world’s top 200 players. She is now ranked as the #1 recruit in North America for NCAA Div. 1 universities and #1 ranked woman in BC. In 2010 Rebecca played her first grand slam tournament at the US Open, facing her second round against Venus Williams. Her current WTA Ranking: #60. You can currently find her playing her 3rd round at the 2011 French Open.

Golf Tour

Candie Kung 2011 LIJA Pro Player Candie Kung is an outstanding professional golfer with numerous impressive achievements to date. Joining the LPGA in 2002, Candie has already reached rankings as high as #5 in the world. She is a 4-time winner on Tour, including a runner-up at the 2010 US Open. Having played in over 20 tournaments in 2010, Candie is sure to succeed in various LPGA events throughout 2011.

Jenny Suh 2011 LIJA Pro Player 2011 LPGA rookie Jenny Suh is a promising young golfer new to LIJA’s team this year. Jenny’s successes as an amateur include 3 wins and 12 top 10 finishes. Before earning a spot on the LPGA Jenny finished 20th on the money list on the Futures Tour, including a first place finish at the 2009 Alliance Bank Classic. Jenny will be a great addition to LIJA both on and off the course.
